Ashton Blum – Certified Flight Instructor

I’m a CFI based out of the Lowell City Airport. I’ve been passionate about aviation since I was a kid flying RC airplanes, and now I’m lucky enough to help others take their first steps into full scale flying.

I got my Private Pilot License at West Michigan Aviation Academy. That same year I joined the Army and I haven’t looked back since. I got the rest of my training done at Northwestern Michigan College. 

I aim to be humble, professional, and approachable. My teaching style is all about you, the future pilot. I focus on keeping lessons clear, supportive, and customized to your learning pace. I truly believe people learn best when they’re relaxed and confident, so I work hard to create an environment where you can ask questions, make progress, and have fun along the way.
