Airmen Academy Club Membership To keep things simple, we charge a dry rate of $85/hr based on TAC time (engine running time). This helps us keep costs affordable for members. When you factor in fuel, the all-in cost averages $95–$100/hr (Hobbs time), which is extremely affordable compared to neighboring schools. As a member, you’re buying into ownership of the Airmen Academy, which gives you access to the aircraft for both training and leisure flying. New Members Welcome: You can try out the club for 30 days before committing to full enrollment. Solo flying requires a fully licensed and signed-off member.
